There’s something incredibly special about photographing the same family year after year.


I’ve had the opportunity to photograph the Primeau family for four years, documenting the little changes that somehow become the big ones — growing family, growing kids, changing seasons, new stages of life, and all of the personality in between.


These sessions are such a good reminder that family photos aren’t only about what your family looks like right now. They become a record of what this season of life felt like.


As a West Michigan family photographer, one of my favorite parts of what I do is getting to grow alongside the families I photograph. Seeing familiar faces come back in front of my camera year after year makes every gallery feel like another chapter added to the family album.
