One outfit or six—I don't put an arbitrary limit on outfit changes. As long as it fits naturally within your session time, bring whatever feels like you. Dress it up, throw on your favorite lived-in jeans, bring something sentimental, or do all three. This is your story, not a list of rules.

HOW YOUR STORY LIVES
I love mixing formats because they don't all remember your relationship in the same way. Digital gives us the whole story. Film gives us surprise. Polaroids give us something immediate. Motion gives us the pieces a still photograph can't hold.

FORGET THE PHOTO SHOOT
You don't have to stand in a field and smile at me for an hour. Give me something real to work with— a place, activity, tradition, hobby, or weird little thing that already belongs to the two of you.
Bare feet, wind, dunes, wet clothes, sunsets, and absolutely no expectation that your hair stays perfect.
Coffee, bowling, ice cream, record shopping, pizza, a dive bar, the arcade— whatever you actually enjoy doing together.
Make pancakes. Pour wine. Dance in the kitchen. Let the dog interrupt everything. Real life photographs beautifully.
Cars, motorcycles, boats, tractors, and anything with a story attached to it absolutely belongs in your photographs.
