Port 393

The Loading Dock

The Loading Dock is a beautifully restored old building full of vintage charm. From the large porch and brick exterior, to the warm wood interior you will be sure to love it.
The building does have two levels with a large opening in the upper level that looks down to the lower level. There are restrooms located on both levels. There is a large staircase that connects the two levels. The upper level is handicap accessible. Both levels open, and have easy access to the outside.

The restoration earned Clearwater Place the Governor's Award for Historic Preservation. We remodeled the space to highlight the original Romanesque revival architecture--round arches, recessed panels, high ceilings, steel beams, and unique windows-- while incorporating state of the art updates and amenities.

Studio D2D

Studio D2D has two grand and historic Event Venues for you to choose from! The City View and Loft Venues at 401 Hall St in Grand Rapids, Michigan, were constructed in 1908 by Terrell’s Equipment Company as “Plant 2” for the Metal Office Furniture Company (later Steelcase). These beautiful venues feature exposed brick walls, immense wooden beams, and large windows that fill the spaces with natural light.

Stonegate Manor

The original Carriage House and stables have been converted into the beautiful Wedding Cottage. The old House of David Museum became the elegant Riverside Dining Room. The Manor House pretty much stayed its same amazing self as a restored Victorian and is a wonderful place for family and close friends to gather as they help prepare for the big event. The newest edition is our Estate Tent. The stately structure provides an open air shelter for an elegant outdoor affair.
